- Rest at home following local anesthesia.
- You can continue your regular diet at home, otherwise as advised by your doctor.
- Call your doctor if your temperature is 101 degrees or higher.
- If your doctor did not prescribe pain medication, you may take your usual non-prescribed medication. If your pain is not relieved, call your doctor.
- If you had regional anesthesia, such as an arm or leg block, your arm may be numb or insensitive to pain or temperature for up to 24 hours.
